CSS are the best Brazilian electro-pop band I know, and their blog is the maddest, most obsessed with Sarah Jessica Parker blog I know. This is it here. Close second for best band blog is from Irish bards Fred.
Band of Outsiders
Band of Outsiders is a fashion label. They seem to have loads of other interests, like lego and loverly photography. The pictures on their site get extra points for blurring the line between fashion label and photography-art collective. These pictures are making me wonder if it’s possible to make bad photos with polaroids. And they have Jason Schwartzman and Sarah Silverman as models, showing another, PJ Harvey-esque side to the pig-tailed comedienne.
Conrad Roset
Corad Roset does almost exclusively nudes, that on one hand have grit, and on the other, delicacy.
Here’s a big picture. Conrad Roset‘s blog.
Dylan Martorell
Found Dylan Martorell on FFFFound!. He’s also an experimental musician, which generally makes for really eye-catching art and imagery. He uses his music to soundtrack exhibitions, which sounds kick-ass. And he’s from Scotland, too.
Wavves
I am soooooo late to get into Wavves, but because I got into him past alot of the hype, it’s a testament to just how great the music is.
My Lord and my God
One of the earliest experimentors with LSD, and the “only guy to make Al Capone laugh”, Lord Buckley reworked well known literary pieces such as a Mark Antony speech, Scrooge, and in the mp3 below, the life of Jesus Christ in his own intricate interpretation of jive. If you like your spoken word music hip, gone and wild, with a language all of its own, Richard Myrle “Lord” Buckley is for you.
Lord Buckley’s The Nazz
I dig Terence Koh
I believe ‘fucked up’ would be a term that aptly fits Terence Koh. So would ‘brilliant’. ASIANPUNKBOY
